To all our NES staff: Thank You for Helping Us Grow!

The Annual Spring Raffle is LIVE! We have gathered some incredible prizes thanks to the generosity of our local businesses, community members, and Vermont companies who have generously donated their time, efforts, and more toward our cause.
The Northfield PTNO is a non-profit organization led by NES parents and teachers. We could not do what we do without the support of our community members. All proceeds of our annual raffle (our only fundraiser of the year!) help run our free events, teacher grants, and other initiatives throughout the year.
Tickets are $5 each or buy four and get one free. You can purchase tickets from a student seller or by visiting our online store at: https://my.cheddarup.com/c/2024-northfield-ptno-spring-raffle
We will broadcast the raffle drawing LIVE on our Facebook page on April 5th at: https://www.facebook.com/NorthfieldPTNO
Thank you for your participation and for all your support. We wish you the best of luck and hope you enjoy a chance to win one of our 22 amazing prizes this year!

We are thrilled to announce it's almost time to shop the NES Holiday Wish Tree. Due to the immense success from previous years and large volume of orders, we are doing things a bit different this year. We are making it easier to shop the list by allowing you to shop by teacher, grade, or special program. The list is available on our Donation page and you can shop the list from December 1st through January 2nd.
The Holiday Wish Tree is a great way to provide direct support to our staff and students. Your gifts will be delivered directly to the staff member and help enrich the student experience and allow our teachers to create innovative solutions to their classroom needs and programs.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to the Northfield PTNO. Thank you for your incredible generosity and support!
Snacks delivered from the NES PTNO straight to Nurse Gove at NES
September 5th, 2023
Thanks to generous donations from our community and fundrasing efforts throughout the year, we have enough funding to purchase snacks all year long throughout the 2023-2024 school year!
One of our main missions is to keep Nurse Gove's pantry stocked with nutritious snacks for any student who needs it. We are happy to be able to provide free snacks throughout the year. If any teachers find themselves running low or have a student who needs it, they can visit the nurse's office at NES and get what they need.
Join us for a popsicle party at the NES playground! We want to invite your for an afternoon of group play and a chance to get to know fellow parents, teachers, and new friends! All grades pre-K through 5th are invited and we will provide free popsicles for all.

We are so excited to announce the winners of our annual teacher grants! Every year, we ask teachers and staff at NES to apply for our grant to fund special projects or items for their classroom to enrich the student's learning experience. This year we were able to give $1600 thanks to fundraising efforts last year and a last minute donation! Leilani announced the winners over the school announcement system with Sonia yesterday morning. Here are your 2022 NES PTNO Teacher Grant winners:
- Matelyn Thygesen, Music - $627.30 to purchase 170 recorders for the 3rd and 4th grade music program.
-Sonia Bassett, Main Office - $220 for enrichment items for all students who come to the front office.
-Amanda Rogers, Pre-K - $400 for a new caterpillar structure for the Pre-K playground.
-Julie Carino, Art - $351.91 for acrylic paint markers for 3rd-5th grade.
The only request we weren't able to fulfill this year was for playdoh and clay materials for art education due to budget constraints. However, the playdoh and modeling clay has been added to the Holiday wishlist (https://amzn.to/3XllMA4) if anyone wants to help fulfill these items for art class. Thank you for your support!
